the TreeTree Room:
This is our unique contribution to the pub. This is one of our main dining areas and the stage where all the entertainment is held.

Distillery Theme:
Ireland has 2 national drinks: Stout and Whiskey. We Irish claim to have been the first to distill whiskey. Back in the 19th century, Irish whiskey was the most popular whiskey in the world and was significantly more popular than scotch. However, prohibition and a trade war with Britain did irreparable damage to the Irish Distilling business and the Scottish Distillers took full advantage.

The Irish word for whiskey is Uisce Beathe (ish-ki-ba-ha) which means Water of Life and gave the divine drink its name.

In old Ireland were "Whiskey Bonders". Who were pubs who received full barrels of whiskey from a distillery and were bonded to bottle the whiskey. The bond was an amount of money the establishment would forfeit if caught watering down the whiskey in order to make a higher profit.

These pubs always had empty barrels lying around. We got our old barrels from the Jameson Distillery. Also notice the old corkscrews and barrel laps that work within this theme.
